Bridge over dark waters

Bridge over dark waters

I often find that one of the best ways for me to relax is to simply walk in our wonderful parks. You don't have to be a photographer to appreciate the beauty of nature. And it is in my walks that I  'suffer' the photographers' 'disease' of having to capture that exact shaft of light landing on leaves, branches, and wild flowers. Whatever, that image maybe I feel we must 'capture' it. So a simple walk in the woods turns into a photographic journey. This journey may lead to other ideas about future artistic photo shoots. And most times all I may be carrying would be a smart phone. Here are some recent photos (shot mostly with an iPhone) from The Jacksonville Arboretum and Gardens. Best of all many of these images are not taken for work projects but for my pure enjoyment. I hope that you yu will enjoy them as well!
